Weather has improved and it is not raining. Today we planned to go to the Vienna Woods to do a little walking and shake off some cobwebs. We took Ubahn and then bus 38A to Karlenberg which is the popular starting point for walks. There are great views over the city from here. We did not have a walking trail map and sort of fumbled our way round on a circular tour for a couple of hours. Coming back was uphill sure warmed us up. The sun even shone a bit. The bus was waiting and we only had to wait a minute or two for all the other connections and we were soon back in our flat for a late lunch.
The great thing about the public transport here is that it is cheap and having purchased a weekly ticket we have not needed to show it or scan/insert it. I guess they have inspectors.
