J&L went shopping whilst AMB (birthday girl) rested up in the flat. Weather is still lousy.
We had lunch I in flat and celebrated AMB’s birthday with champagne.
I took off into town to suss out at the tourist info how to get to Vienna Woods tomorrow. We are hoping for better weather. I also visited the main Post Office and mailed back a book which needed to be returned to the library. This was near the Fleichmarkt which as I understand is a historic area of Vienna which was a former meat market. I found a few quaint backstreets and a very inviting looking bar which I just had to try out.
J&L returned to Edinburgh and I cooked dinner for birthday girl.
