Today we endured more traffic and headed into Moscow to the Mlitary museum (our choice). No churches for us today!Lots of chunky tanks and interesting displays showing the defeat of the fascist pigs.

In the afternoon AMB rested up and I braved the Metro. The river port where we are moored is about 20 mins walk away. Highlight of the day was a White Siberian beer in a posh city bar followed by getting lost when I came off the Metro. Not yet familiar with Cyrillic alphabet and the map I had was in Roman - thats my excuse. Relief came when I found I had been walking in 180 degree opposite direction and eventually got into recognisable terrain. Jetlag setting in again. Nice dinner, though we have to queue a bit.
